Russia's Pro-Life Movement
Founded in 1993, today Russia's Pro-Life and Pro-Family Movement includes dozens of organizations of different types and forms
- The organized movement for the protection of Life in Russia appeared in 1993 on the basis of the Orthodox Medical and Educational Center "Life" (Headed by Fr. Maxim Obukhov) that today is member of the All-Russian NGO "For Life."
- In Russia also operate a large number of small volunteer organizations in the sphere of protection of Life, such as the Foundation of Socio-Cultural Initiatives, headed by the wife of the Russian President, Svetlana Medvedeva, Foundation for Protection of Family, Maternity and Childhood, St. Apostle Andrew Foundation and many others.
- Numerous initiatives have been held during 2009 which was declared the "Year of the Family."

Founded in 2008, it has organized pan-Russian initiative "Give me life!" (week against abortions) in July 2009. Among the activities of the Foundation: "Open Days" at prenatal clinics, distribution of promotional materials, screenings of documentaries on relevant topics, organizing exhibitions, distribution of brochures and educational materials with necessary information on the topic and telephone hotline.

Founded in 1992. The Fund's activities cover a variety of areas of public life. In the field of family support, since 2007, the Fund has been implementing a program "The sanctity of Motherhood." This all-Russian program, aimed at creating positive public attitude to the family, motherhood, fatherhood and childhood as the greatest values. As part of the "sanctity of Motherhood" program, numerous crisis pregnancy centers were created, a lot of media coverage generated and many volunteers were attracted to take part in various actions promoting traditional family values. Actively promoting various Pro-Life projects in more than 50 regions of Russia.

Founded in 2002, it conducts the following activities: 1. Information support measures aimed at increasing the birth rate (co-organizer of action "Give me life!") 2. Maternity protection - The Foundation operates as a charitable organization (a program of direct financial and psychological support for pregnant women), and as an organizer of other projects that include psychological work with pregnant women) 3. Help for orphans. In 2008 the Foundation has initiated the pan-Russian non-profit organization "For Life!"
