Family & Demography Foundation officially represents in Russia and the CIS the World Congress of Families, the largest international network of pro-life/pro-family/drug-free supporters from over 65 countries of the world, which brings together several dozen organisations, tens of thousands activists and hundreds of millions sympathisers on all the continents. For 40 years already, the international pro-life movement has been fighting for inviolability of human life from conception to natural death, defending traditional family values, condemning abortions, same-sex marriages, euthanasia, drugs, and cloning. The founders of the Family and Demography Foundation are two Russian Orthodox priests – Archpriest Dmitry Smirnov and Archpriest Maxim Obukhov, who for 20 years have been tirelessly preaching in this country the Biblical view of the sanctity of human life. The day-to-day management of the Foundation is ensured by Alexey Komov, Chairman of the Organising Committee of the Moscow Demography Summit: Family and the Future of Humankind, which will take place on 29 and 30 June, and the Ambassador of the World Congress of Families to the UN.

We are glad to announce the launch of the new project – Life - Family Medical Centres Network – no abortions! These centres are to be opened in all Russian and CIS major cities (on the right you see a list of the first 30 centres, but applications from other cities will be acceptable as well). This will be the first united federal network of modern medical centres that would provide the whole range of services in gynaecology and pregnancy follow-up and that would never perform abortions as a matter of principle (and would also serve as crisis pregnancy centres). We invite physicians, psychologists and activists, who share our philosophy of sanctity of human life since conception, to work in our centres. This is also a good job opportunity for physicians who lost their jobs because they had refused to carry out abortions in State-run or private clinics. Our centres will have state-of-the-art equipment directly supplied by our international partner organisations. We are also planning periodical training seminars in Russia and abroad to improve skills and meet the latest international quality standards.

We invite everyone to fill in the online questionnaire in Russian on our website www.worldcongress.ru in the Life - Family Medical Centres Network – no abortions! section to take part in the following competitions: 1) getting a job in one of our centres as a physician, psychologist or activist, 2) starting your own medical practice as a private entrepreneur on the basis of self-sufficiency as a component of our Network, 3) integration into our federal network of existing medical centres (and crisis pregnancy centres), that wish to get state-of-the-art ultrasound examination equipment to be used free of charge, federal and regional level advertising support from us, a guaranteed flow of customers due to the single federal hotline and best international quality and training standards – under the franchising system.
